My teacher, Twyla Bloxham, gave the class an assignment to tell a story using five photos. Well I love taking pictures of food so I somehow came up with this comical project of eggs being turned into delicious cupcakes! I know, sounds cruel baking these cute little guys into cupcakes, but I had a lot of fun doing so. I was going for even lighting to make the images look clean. This is why I also used a white background. Maybe I will make more photographs like these using other food groups! This class has definitely challenged my food style.
Wanderlust
In advertising class I had an assignment and we had to make an advertisement that expressed "Clean Air." My group embarked on a journey and found Neverland! Graffiti EVERYWHERE! It was the most amazing place I had ever seen! It was a big scene for art! After I got over the feeling of being overwhelmed I got terrified because this looked like a great place to find homeless people as well. So be careful if you find this place! I had so much fun and my ground and I utilized the place very well! It was unfortunately very humid, but at least the mosquitoes weren't too bad! I have big ideas for the place in the future!
Steel Wool!
This was my first attempt at a steel wool image. My crew and I ventured out to the railroad track while being eaten by mosquitoes when stumbled upon a great place to take a steel wool shot. Steel wool is like a flame circle in a way. As we were racing against time, because a train was coming, we got this image. My friend was a few feet ahead of us as he spun his flame circle ferociously! We had enough time to take the shot and run to safety before being squashed by a train. Did I mention the mosquitoes were awful! I will be scratching for the day!
